This bronze sculpture depicts an abstract forest and swampland communicated through wire and cut medal shapes. A rustic cabin rises originally, resembling an exotic plant with books for leaves. A patina on the bronze has made this sculpture turn green, contributing to the organic feel. This piece depicts the self-designed home of winter/naturalist Gene Stratton-Porter.
