About My Work:

My work presents collections of images to provide visitors the opportunity to see The Journey, Illusions, The World We Live In, and Colors and Flows all around us.  Although the artist was formally trained as an engineer, visitors should not expect extended discussion of the technical attributes of creating images – except, perhaps, the instances where a technical failure has led to a visual success.  I strive to present images that satisfy the “Three Second” criteria – to comprehend and SEE the image, the viewer desires, or needs, to look at the image longer than the digital slide show default time of three seconds.  Studies at MIT have shown that the human mind can capture and comprehend a predictable image in as little as 0.1 second.  I strive for images that are not predictable.
