I never claimed to be an artist nor enthusiast, but have always admired and respected the various displays of art. I was introduced to my artistic ability in high school when I had to pick an ‘elective’ to satisfy a mandatory class schedule. Once I captured the attention of my art teacher, I knew that I was on to something.
I was very much inspired by the events of 2008 when we elected our first African American president, so I commissioned myself to draw a piece which I titled,
