On October 10, 2015, Michael J McGuire suffered a sudden severe brain bleed called Dural Venous Sinus Thrombosis. Michael endured 3 brain surgeries, 20 days in the Neuro ICU, 7 days in Acute Neuro, and 40 days in a rehabilitation facility. After numerous in-home and outpatient therapies, Michael continues to struggle with communicating and has Aphasia.
