My most recent body of work is a series of figurative paintings, utilizing torn and ripped color prints collaged over and sometimes creating the figure. I combine this cellular collage aesthetic with inspired backgrounds and metallic pigments creating a quasi-real experience. The contorted angular poses of my figures create an anxiety inspired by our human lives, and the many paths they may take.
