Arts for Learning engages children with the arts by bringing teaching artists into schools and communities. We believe in the arts and their ability to transform education. We believe that when learning is enriched with the arts, students get more out of school.

Explorations in Photography by William Rasdell
Students will learn the elements and principals of design as they study the photographer’s work and other gathered photos. Choose from two themes in the artist’s work: “South Africa and Migration” or “Daily Life in Cuba.” Other topics are available upon request. Cameras can be provided for student use during the workshop.

Arts for Learning teaching artists come to you. No field trip is required. Travel charges may apply.
Single workshop: $90
Multiple workshops: $80 each
Materials: $25 per classroom, if Teaching Artist is supplying cameras
Anchor Standard 2 – Organize and develop artistic ideas and work: People create and interact with objects, places, and design that define, shape, enhance, and empower their lives.
