Saxophonist Rob Dixon teams with pianist Steve Allee, drummer Steve Houghton and bassist Jim Anderson in presenting John Coltrane’s “A Love Supreme.” It was released 55 years ago in 1965 and is one of Coltrane’s bestselling albums and one of his most critically acclaimed. It is widely considered his masterpiece, as well as one of the greatest albums ever recorded.
