The anxiety I experience when I am creating a painting flows over into the work and that anxiety is only calmed when the vision comes to life on canvas, board or paper. In a world full of confusion and chaos, my desire is to create something that relieves the state of confusion and chaos at least in the minds of art viewers. The minds eye is not to be wasted on confusion, so when you view my work you will not walk away with a twisted ideology of what you just viewed but you will walk away with a sense of peace, joy, and some sort of relativity to the work, therefore when I have delivered that response from my work unto the viewer then I have done my job as an artist.
