About My Work:

Seventy to eighty years ago Dana Goot would have been crooning in a piano bar where the lights were low and the spirits may have been lower. Today her vocals reach locally on the Penrod Jazz Stage, The Indianapolis Arts Garden, singing back up with Madonna, or as far away as Rome and Israel. Her infectious swing and richly warm ballads transform standards into modern classics. It is clear that Dana understands life’s jubilant and jeopardous journey. Elements of Europe and Israel infect her American Jazz and her music will affect you.
