Caribbean Consort is an Indianapolis based band led by steel drummer, Dr. Jimmy Finnie. The band performs in configurations ranging from 2 to 8 performers (including a vocalist). It primarily performs music from the calypso and soca traditions of Trinidad, but also explores other styles including reggae, bossa nova, samba, and Caribbean inspired American popular music.
