Jonathan Penniston

Jonathan Penniston is a self-taught artist who works primarily in acrylics with a practice in sculpting and job a job in prepress. Starting and supported at young age with ambitions to create, fueled by several different mediums and works of arts. Works such as Marvel/DC, Disney, cartoons of the 90’s, Elder Scrolls, Fable, The Hero’s Journey, pictures from the NASA’s Hubble Telescope, Greg “Craola” Simkins, Alex Pardee, Aaron Horkey, Eric Freitas; all of which show through his work. But ultimately, he is inspired by the people he surrounds himself with; his friends and family. Often lost in his thought and dazed by the surreal, chewing on new concepts and diving deeper in the philosophy and storytelling.
