The I beam has long been my main source of inspiration. My work has abstracted and in most cases softened the structural and utilitarian use of the I beam and sized it more human scale. As of late I have taken the element of the I beam which is basically flanges and web and used that in a more singular level. I have found the aspect I am after is the dividing result of the plain or wall.
