Graphic Arts; Visual Arts: Graphic Arts, Illustration, Mixed Media, Murals, Painting, Printmaking, Works on paper
Based out of 201 Studios in Indianapolis, Indiana, Thomas is an independent artist dedicated to creating out of her convictions. Her work hinges on weaving together organic language, societal tensions, and human suffering into cerebral works that confront her viewer with strenuous realities. Using multiple mediums to engage her viewer, she focuses on asking hard questions through the implementation of visual languages like texture and color, of symbolic imagery relying upon her viewer’s mental archive, and of the literal cutting and pasting of difficult texts onto arrangements of various ephemera. Creating these gritty confrontations is how she processes her own womanhood, her humanity, and the world around her. The world is full of suffering, and she aims to amplify that in an effort to encourage awareness, conviction, and change.

I started drawing at a young age in Canada when my parents were looking at antiques. The stores up there often provided colouring books, but, as fate would have it, they were pretty much used up by the time we came by. So I was often given blank sheets of paper. Due to much moving around, it was hard to maintain friends, and in Canada, where summer lasted a day or two, it was easier to make up friends, draw, and create. When I moved back to the US, we had moved to Florida, where I was socially inept. I did finally make a freind or two, some were just because of Geographical Locations. My comfort and sanity remained in creative expressions. I took a Hyatus with the brith of my daughter as the art world demands much time and attention. Now, as she has grown older, I am venturing out once again.

Justin grew up on a small family farm in Northern Indiana, working the land of three generations of Vinings. He frequently draws inspiration from rural America and has become fascinated with the disappearance of small family farms that once dominated the American Landscape.
Further inspiration comes from his time in law school. In the fall of 2007, Justin left his job as an elementary art teacher to attend law school with his younger brother. His return to school transformed his passion for art into something bigger. Needing an escape as finals approached his first semester, he picked up a paint brush and subsequently painted a series of work that was stronger than anything before. After graduating and passing the bar, he shifted his focus to art – pursuing his once hobby as a full-time, flourishing business.

TayloredIllustration is a Fine Art & Illustration Studio creating hand crafted keepsakes for sentimentalists who want deeply personal art that connects. Specializing in portraits, children’s art, encaustics and greeting cards, I bring your unique story to life with stunning visuals that’ll exceeds your expectations.
Detail is the hallmark of my work. Everything I do is detailed; from delicate cat whiskers, burnt edges on a holiday card, to perfectly blended makeup…detail is what sets me apart. I thrive on taking the time to capture elements that most wouldn’t have the patience for. It’s thrilling taking something to the extreme and hearing my clients exclaim, ” I can’t believe you noticed the way Cooper’s right eye is slightly more closed!” Detail is what makes us all unique, and detail is what separates a portrait of a brunette little girl, from a portrait of YOUR brunette little girl. Detail is what makes the difference between average and stunning. I strive for stunning.

I enjoy re-creating a photograph in a realistic style and also drawing the human form in person in front of a live audience. I feel my ‘performance’ of drawing from live subjects in my style with added text and detail is a unique and original entertainment source for the community as well as private events.

After graduating from Herron School of Art, I became an advertising and editorial illustrator. I spent almost 20 years working for local and national agencies before my passion for painting influenced me to rethink my artistic direction. I now consider myself equally divided between illustration and painting. I enjoy the challenge of retelling an author’s story visually, but relish having total creative control in my fine art. I have had eight children’s books published and hope to add more to the list. In my fine art my choice of subject matter is almost exclusively landscape, even the seemingly ‘non-objective’ images I create, depict the outside world. I would say that movement, light and texture characterize my work.

My name is Cass Wilson and it’s wonderful to meet you.
I was born in Phoenix, Arizona and that is where my love for art began. At the ripe age of 4, I experienced my first paint brush while coloring the carpet, the inside of a dryer, and my dads clothing with bright pink nail polish. Little did he know it sparked a mad passion and frenzy for me. Quickly my parents began to stock my childrens desk with crayons, markers, pens, pencils, and all the works.
Life changes as a kid and you are packed up just as compactly as your toys and memories. Our family wandered a lot through my childhood. We lived in Texas, Michigan, and Settled in Indiana. It was in Indiana that I realized that my heart was content and my soul was rested only after creating something. I took three art classes in high school. I took 2d drawing Freshman year. That was a bit of a dud. I wasn’t challenged at all. I was also not allowed to draw things I really liked. To be fair, I learned a lot about value and tone despite my relationship with the dragon lady.
Sophmore year, I took painting 101. This was my lunch period. I also wasn’t challenged but I had the pleasure of loving my teacher and being a huge help to my class by finishing my work quickly and going to help them with feedback or tips.
My final art class was senior year and I took ceramics. INTOXICATING! I wasn’t great at it, but I loved throwing on the wheel.
I went to portfolio days and I remember back then a huge blow to my ego and dreams. Pratt told me I had too much of a style and while my work was great, I wouldn’t be moldable. In retrospect… Pratts feedback pushed me to fight back. Growing up we didn’t have money for college. So being determined, head strong, and unwilling to let go of art; I followed my own dreams.
I am a professional artist who has showcased with RAW, Had first Friday’s in Evansville’s best Coffee shop, Showcased at Studio 6 in Frankfort, and been recognized in Lexington KY for chalkboard portraits at HopCat Craft Beer Bar.
Life is a funny little tide that pulls me to different edges of the world teaching me and allowing me to follow my passion.

I am a visual artist from Indianapolis, IN. While using various mediums, with acrylic paint being my current focus, I create works of art to enlighten the hearts of others and bring health and happiness into my own life. Using bright colors, crisp lines, and whimsical flowing designs I create paintings and sculptures to represent the world around and within us all. My works are inspired by dreams, meditation experiences, folklore, metaphysics, and the world observed from my imaginative perspective.
My artwork has been displayed in many galleries around Indianapolis such as The Harrison Center for the Arts, The Eiteljorg Museum of American Indians and Western Art, The Primary Colors Gallery, Garfield Park Art Center and many more. Traveling to music festivals such as Resonance Music and Arts Festival, Rootwire Transformational Arts Festival, Good People Good Times, The Werk Out Festival to name a few are also places that have offered me the opportunity to share inspiration to new audiences through my artwork.
I am currently the owner of Imagination Jubilation Indy, a local business that brings happiness to the community through artistic entertainment. From face painting, balloon twisting, henna tattoos, caricature portraits, art lessons, and live painting Imagination Jubilation allows creativity to flow graciously to kids and adults of all ages in the Indianapolis Community. Never limiting my artwork to a specific area or artist, I plan to extend my outreach to others across the globe during my life to inspire others to create, learn, and grow.
“Our world can be beautiful if we look for the beauty to be grateful for. Everyday I try to find something to be thankful for because I feel it attracts more beauty to inspire my life. I am thankful for the gift of growing. I am blessed for receiving the gift of creating art in my life. I am grateful for the experience of living and the opportunity to flourish. I want to find the beautiful things, the plentiful gifts and blessing of this life and paint them for others to see in case they forget to look for the beauty themselves.” – Julie Young
